let’s talk about jean: also known as ‘i need a place to dump my feels’
So I liked how they focused (in episode 7) a little more on Jean trying to overcome the paralyzing fear of Titans, as well as his internal dilemma in wondering if he would ever be capable of shouldering the heavy responsibility of leading a team, knowing that with that same responsibility comes the burden of carrying the weight of his teammates’ lives in his hands as well.
At the same time, I wished they’d also included the scenes after his introspective dilemma into the episode as well, because seriously, Jean is a freaking AWESOME character.(under cut because spoiler-ish?)

A man in the same ward as my mom at the hospital said that a “Muslim” is a theoretical Islam, who doesn’t actually pray or go to the mosque. An “Islam” is a true (what people perceive as a) “Muslim.”
Does anyone have any more detail or a conjecture ?
As a muslim, I personally have never heard of this. especially when you consider that the word “Islam” means “submit”. So an “Islam” would literally mean, an submit which doesn’t really make sense to me. From what I know, anyone can be a muslim as long as they believe in only ONE god and believe that Muhammad was the last prophet. So, as far as I know, there isn’t really such categories between muslims because that’s supposed to be god’s judgement to make, not ours. Hope this helped.
